Taking Risks

Every week the Community Assistants at Notre Dame have to send in weekly reports and one of the questions is what is one of the lessons you have learned this week, And honestly this week I learned all about taking chances. For some reason all through High School I wanted to be very involve but was too afraid that if I did my grades would suffer. However since I have been at NDMU I am no longer afraid of that I take on so much and sometimes maybe more than what I should but in the end it is all worth it. In life you can't be afraid to take risks or try those things that you have never tried before because you will only regret that you hadn't later on in life. So go ahead take those risks speak your mind and stay true to yourself because it will all pay off

Opening Day

Good Evening Lovely People,
Today was the best day of the semester so far! My friend and I went to the Orioles Opening Day!! It was so much fun to run into friends from high school and even staff at Notre Dame. I guess we all got a bad case of Opening Day and called off from work and school!

Cup full of sunshine

This week has been more than a challenge for me. From dealing with serious issues in the residence halls to studying for all of my midterm exams. However when I stop to look at the situation or needed some support I was surrounded by such wonderful friends faculty and staff that just praise and support me in all that I do. I swear that is the best part about Notre Dame having all of these wonderful people in this amazing community. It's kind of like your own cup of sunshine on a rainy day

Kites for my Residents

It is about that time of the semester where I have to make my second door tags for my residents and as I start to make them I realize these are my last ones with these residents. I love being a CA (RA) and getting to know these beautiful Notre dame women and being involved in creating that amazing community here that had me from "welcome to Notre Dame" and as some of these women graduate or move on to their next year I know all of them will do great things
